Broccolini & Garlic

IMG_2708

One day we were at my friend Cindy’s and she made this dish. We literally ate it out of the pan. So good! I had to make it myself.

2 small bunches broccolini
3 cloves of garlic *
Olive oil
Salt

Mince the garlic. Heat a small amount of olive oil in a skillet. Add the garlic and cook on low heat until really fragrant and soft.

Bring a big pot of water to boil. Cut the very ends off the broccolini but keep the stems. If they are thick, cut them in half. And cut any tops of the broccolini that are too big. Blanch for a minute. Take out of the water and add to the garlic. Cook for 10 or so minutes until softening but still crispy. Test it out. Serve and enjoy!
