Eggy Tofu

Probably the simplest tofu scramble you will ever make.

Servings 6 tacos


  • 8 oz firm tofu (1/2 a typical package)
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon kala namak (black salt)
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil


  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet. Add the turmeric and use a flat edge wooden spoon to spread it into the oil. 

  2. Crumble the tofu into the skillet and toss to coat with the turmeric. Add the kala namak and mix together. 

  3. Cook until the tofu is heated through, about 5 minutes.
