Guacamole (v2)

Adding mint in with cilantro, takes guacamole to a whole new level!

Servings 6 people



  • 3 avocados
  • 1/2 red onion
  • 2 limes
  • Handful of freshly chopped cilantro
  • Small handful of freshly chopped mint
  • Salt


  1. To make the guacamole, cut and peel the avocados and smash them in a mixing bowl. Make it as smooth or chunky as you like. 

  2. Small dice the onions and mince the cilantro and mint. Slice the limes in half and have the salt ready.

  3. Add a bunch of the onions, cilantro, mint, the juice of one of the limes and a pinch of salt. Mix well and then taste to see if you need more of any of the ingredients and adjust. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes

To make your own tortilla chips, preheat the oven to 400. Start with your tortillas piled up and the oil in a little bowl. Using a brush, lightly oil both sides of the first one and place it down on your baking sheet. Place another tortilla on top and lightly oil it. The other side will get some oil from the one underneath. Do this until you finish the whole pile. Cut the tortillas into little triangles (slice in half, in half again, and again!) Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes but keep an eye on them so they come out perfectly. Take them out and salt them right away because the heat with melt the salt onto the chips.
