Dates are high in natural fruit sugar which is low on the glycemic index. They are rich in antioxidants and vitamins A, B and C and they are high in protein, fiber and iron. This smoothie is salty and sweet and caramelly and delicious!
Salted Caramel Smoothie
- 1 cup cashew milk or your favorite plant milk (To make a cup of cashew milk, add 1/4 cup cashews + 1 cup water to the blender and process until smooth.)
- 6 pitted Medjool dates
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 teaspoon maca powder
- 1/8 teaspoon ground vanilla
- Big pinch salt
Add to your blender and blend until super smooth. Enjoy!
