Me want cookies! I am not claiming to be a baker or anything but I do put together a pretty good cookie.
1. Chocolate Chip Cookies. I make these cookies all the time!
2. Lace Cookies. I based this cookie on a version that the famous vegan dessert chef Fran Costigan posted on her website. These little cookies are the kind of cookies that impress everyone.
3. Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. This is my dad’s favorite cookie. I love impressing him with my vegan skills.
4.ย Green Power Cookies. I found this recipe in a magazine and was up in arms about the fact they turned green. I contacted the magazine. the article’s author, the baker who gave her the recipe and no one had a good answer. I did some research and found out the following: baking soda + sunflower seeds = green. I made them over to fix the “problem” but then decided I like green cookies. They are fun to serve and are super delicious!
5. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies. Peanut butter + chocolate chips = perfect food combination.
6. Sugar Cookies. Otherwise known as Turkey Trick or Treat. Making turkey cookies and bringing them to our friends was my son’s idea. He wanted everyone to know that eating turkey cookies was the only turkey that should be eaten on Thanksgiving. Use this recipe for any shape cookie you like!
7. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles. Seriously.
These looks so great! I especially love #2!
I love PB choc chip cookies! Such a great combo!
i approve of your cookie choices! I want them all! Cookies are my true spirit food. <3
Can u substitute anything else for flax eggs. Grand kids allergic to nuts seeds and eggs. Thanks
you can use applesauce. it is not one to one exactly because it depends on how watery the applesauce is, so play with it and see what happens.
#6 is so sweet! I love how your son thinks! All the cookies look good – even the green ones!
You don’t have to be a formal baker to make awesome cookies – as you so rightly show! Thanks for sharing this with the world. ๐ I actually stumbled upon this whilst searching for recipes after posting my wife’s own vegan cookie recipe on our blog (come visit!). From my own humble experience in my transition towards veganism, pistachio or almond milk is the killer combo with cookies!
Love the blog and will come back again – for more cookies recipes.. And hopefully some cupcakes too? Haha ๐
Love from Australia!
