This CSA is no where near as challenging as the one I was in last year. What a relief!
I made a big salad today with the lettuces and purslane, well about half the purslane. It was time consuming to pull off each and every leaf and there were three of us working! Tonight, we will be having aย stir fry with the bok choy. That’s easy.
I am in love with these summer tomatoes. The big ones are going to become a big pot of sauce that will be frozen in little batches so I can have delicious sauce anytime. The cherry tomatoes are like candy in this house and most are gone already.
I am thinking of hash browns for breakfast tomorrow!
The peach ‘n cream ice cream was a big hit so it looks like another batch is in the making. And I am even thinking of a cantaloupe sorbet.
