I just got home from an all day yoga immersion and I just ate 6 of these babies. These are seriously delicious, nutritious and disappear quickly!
I like making cubes because they are the easiest shape for me (and my 3 year old son) to form.
1 cup raw walnuts
1/2 cup pitted dates
1/4 cup raw cacao powder
1 tablespoon agave
1 tablespoon water
1/4 teaspoon salt
Place the walnuts into the processor and process until as fine as possible.
Pit the dates and chop. Add to the processor along with cacao powder, agave, water and salt. Process to combine.
Make bite sized cubes. Enjoy!
Those look awesome! Can't wait to try.
wow, those look great! How do you think they'd work with sunflower seeds instead of walnuts. We have a severe nut allergy in the house, so need to keep them off the menu – but would LOVE alternatives!
they will taste different…but i think they would be fine! process the sunflower seeds first but not for too long so they don' turn into sunflower butter!
These are great! I made them with maple sirup instead of agave and I replaced half of the walnuts with cashews. Delicious !
sounds great! thanks for letting me know. next time i will try it your way. ๐
