We still call smoothies shake-y shakes but this is a good one! Too hot to make lunch again today. The peaches are from CSA Week #6.
makes 3 cups
3 small fresh peaches *
2 frozen bananas **
1 cup oat or almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 ice cubes
Place all ingredients in blender and process until smooth. Enjoy!
* I froze a lot of peaches this season, so I can make this shake-y shake in the winter. Adjust the recipe for 2 frozen peaches and 1 frozen banana.
** The key to the shake is the frozen banana. When you have a bunch of ripe bananas, slice them up and place them in a freezer bag/container. This way you have them on hand every day.
